American, 1867–1942
Attested: Minnefer (G 2421)
Shafts: G 2399 X
Remarks: Mastaba/intrusive shaft is in street north of G 2378 and is not recorded on maps. Reisner put down a 120 cm deep test-hole to rock about 10 meters north of G 2378. His hole was between the back and front walls of 'poor mastabas of the latest type' that were cut by intrusive pits. It appears that he assigned the number G 2399 to one of these poor mastabas and assumed the offering basin, though found in an intrusive shaft in the street and not in place, was from/near this mastaba.
