G I-a, main street. Main effort concentrated on debris in main street in front of G I-a. Moving rapidly north. Loading switch shifted again. Have reached a point about opposite middle of G I-a. The rock is rising rapidly towards north. Rail level is apparently not over 3 meters above rock.
The black trodden floor with crude brick bins overlaid with black debris continues westward.

(1) Street G 7000
G I-a, main street. Continued driving north through the great slope of debris on east face of G I-a. The casing of the pyramid seems to be destroyed. We have seen only one stone in place. The chapel also seems to be gone.

(2) G 7110
In G 7110 a pit towards the south end probably pit B has been excavated and is now open to a depth of about 2 meters. After the noon hour, put a gang to clearing this. After it is clear we can excavate pit A (if any) and dump in pit B.
