(1) G I-b
The one visible room of the temple was cleared. Over the greater part the floor and foundation platform has been removed. On the north and east, the two courses of the foundation platform are preserved extending under the railroad embankment. There may have been a corridor on the east (not yet clear).
In the debris of the niche (northern niche) were ten to fifteen more fragments of relief of the fine low style of Khufu period, on three ____.

(2) Street G 7000 and G 7131
G I-b, street east of temple, G 7131. In the street east of temple about in line with south wall, opened a square burial pit (2 ells x 2 ells).

The original lining of the pit above rock is preserved to a height of two courses. Over the pit was a granary (?) of rubble, but this may have been a lining made by modern plunderers (??). The pit has been plundered and is filled with dirty debris (fine) not sebbakh siftings and stones.
I am yet uncertain of its date relative to the temple. Got down about 5 meters. Found sixteen shells (cowry) [24-11-285].

Continued clearing northwards, removing yellow debris of decay and underlying black dust to floor of bins. The floor rises towards north to top of C 5 of pyramid casing. At a point about 3 meters north of north wall of temple was a modern excavation about 1 meter across filled with disturbed yellow debris (fallen down from above). The penetration reached pyramid core and top of casing.
