Clearing debris from inscribed room. Walls inscribed on the east, north and west.
(4) G 7247
Clearing debris from mastaba. Found in debris: Saite-Ptolemaic fragments, diorite, slate and black stone (inscribed). Removing debris from two pits A [= X] and B [= Y].
G 7247 A [= G 7247 X]: Down .7 meters.
Both pits of dubsh and mud. Chamber a on south of mastaba.
Pit A [= X] is inside the room, and pit B [= Y] outside.
(5) G 7248
Mastaba south of G 7244. Clearing debris of sebbakheem, etc. from top of mastaba. Built of dubsh, with masonry outside.
G 7248 A: Removing debris. Depth 3.95 meters. Chamber on the east, closed with dubsh. [ILLUSTRATION]
Found built into south wall of pit a small slab stela [26-4-206, inscribed for Mestju, his wife Nebuhetep and daughter Khenut also shown], broken in two by pressure of wall above.
