About 5 p.m. I received the following wireless from the Floyd Triestino S.S. Pilsma then on her way from Suez to Aden and India, dated 8/12/25 10 a.m.
"Sorry, imperative continue journey India. Unexpected. Please grant six weeks leave unsalaried, wire Aden"
Unsigned but of course from Greenlees. I learn from Wheeler that Greenlees went to meet a party of Theosophists going to India and had intended to accompany them on the steamer from Port Said to Suez.
The expedition is working and every day of his absence will involve us in increasing difficulties of registration.
