Clearing debris between G 7450 and G 7530. Removing Roman mudbrick work G 7400 Pt VI. Found in debris: faience fragments, ushabtis, beads, diorite statue fragments.

Clearing debris behind casing stones, found eleven casing stones on west side, with quarry marks on the reverse.

Clearing debris behind casing stones, found eight casing blocks with quarry marks on west side.

G 7410 B: Removed the winch used for lifting sarcophagus to the west, preparatory to rigging gear over G 7000 X.

Removed middle section of wood and fragments of gold and inlay from beneath sarcophagus. Photographed.

Clearing debris from street between G 7350 and G 7450. Uncovered the remainder of mud-brick chapel walls east of the north niche of G 7350. In front of this niche is a large polished slab of marble, and on each side of the niche the lower part of a columnar pedestal(?). North of niche is a low bench of stone slabs on similar slabs on edge.
