40th day of work.

Mrs. Reisner, Mrs. Watson, and Mary riding in the desert this morning, on the way home found a dead man in a side wady about two miles from the Camp. He was an Egyptian of the peasant class. Had been dead a day or two and was torn by dogs or jackals. Notified police who came up about 11 and went with Saed Hasam to the place.
The wife of Said Ahmed has been ill some days and has been to see the doctor. He says it is not serious and so Said took her home leaving this evening.
