(4) G 6030
G 6030 room a: Entered long corridor room of G 6030 = room a and had it nearly cleared at sunset.

The room was roofed with three or four slabs at each end to protect each of the offering niches. The rest was left open to the sky and the whole east wall was crowned with a parapet rounded on top [ILLUSTRATION]. The eastern ends of the roofing slabs had been let into this wall (i.e. roof an after thought). Both sides of eastern wall have a batter.
The north and south end walls each contain a serdab with connecting hole to chamber. Both serdabs have been broken into from front (see above) in modern times.
Inscription on door: L.D. 59b. [GLYPHS] [Iti]. Inscription on south niche: L.D. 59a.
In the room was drift sand to within 20 cm of bottom of roofing slabs.
Just south of the north niche, a rectangle of four stones [ILLUSTRATION] has shrunk from the large stone masonry and evidently covers a sloping corridor leading to a burial chamber. (see above passage).

(5) G 6020, G 6030, G 6040
Proceeded with the clearing of the front of the group. On south reached the southeast corner of G 6020 and advanced a little beyond. On the north cleared about half a face of G 6040 and working northwards between G 6040 and a small rubble mastaba G 6041.
