53rd day of work.

The southwest storm continued all night and this morning increased to a sand storm. The day was cloudy. After sunset about 6:30 there was a sprinkle of rain (and in Cairo, I hear, a heavy rain). An hour later the wind had dropped and the sky was clear.

(1) Isis Temple around G 7011 B
(2) Street G 7000 south
(3) G 7000 SW (southwest) trench 32
(4) G 7050 east face
(5) G 7150 B and addition iii

Cars emptied:
Line IV to 8:00 am: 67, 8:30 to noon: 152, 1:00 to 4:30 pm: 196
short carry growing shorter in p.m. when all hands were concentrated on (3) and (4).

Around G 7011 B. Clearing out crude brick compartment which contains G 7011 B.

(2) Street G 7000 S (south)
Continued clearing away surface debris towards south and examining hard debris opposite Avenue G 4.

Shifted switch to south. Clearing away railroad embankment and east face of G 7050. Found usual Saite-Ptolemaic fragments.
