[G 2190 margin note] The pit of d [= G 2190] had been cleared before the small mastabas were covered with sand. The debris had been dumped out over the small mastabas.

This was evidently done by treasure hunters in the Old Kingdom?

[G 2000 margin note] In the big mastaba (Lepsius 23 [= G 2000]) required whole day to remove six large boulders resting on hard debris.

West of c [= G 2180] and in the debris piled on the later mastabas, a burial, extended nearly on the back (originally on left side head north), in wooden coffin [ILLUSTRATION] (Middle Kingdom to Old Kingdom type) of which only black organic matter and cast remained.
