Literature reference: NB: error in original publication (Reisner, George A. Mycerinus: The Temples of the Third Pyramid at Giza. Cambridge, MA: Harvard University Press, 1931, p. 35) concerning sequence of excavation of the four Menkaure triads (paragraph should read): At about 3:30 PM, in room (4) along the eastern side, the heads were uncovered of a slate triad, No. 10 (see B265), that of the Theban nome. While clearing the mud from around this triad, half an hour later, a second, No. 11, that of the Jackal nome, was discovered about 50 cm. south of the first. About a half an hour later, two more, Nos. 9 and 12 (that of the Hare nome; and that of the nome of Diospolis parva) were found in rapid succession on the other side of the narrow corridor just to the north.
